It is our pleasure to announce that Racing Project Bandoh will be participating in 2019 Nurburgring 24 Hours race in a joint team effort with NOVEL Co., Ltd.
We will be entering a LEXUS RC F GT3 in the GT3 exclusive SP9 Class.
It has been our long-held dream to enter this prestigious race, while for NOVEL in 4th year of participation in this prestigious race has been considering a step up to GT3 car.
This project came to fruition as a result of common dream, objective, and goal.
Racing Project Bandoh brings wealth of experience from the long standing participation in the top category of touring car racing, Super GT, as a top, reigning team.
Having achieved the best result out of all Japanese entries including the works teams in the 2018 running of the Nurburgring 24 Hours race, NOVEL brings the expertise as the only privateer Japanese entry participating fully in the VLN series for the past 3 years.
Together, we aim for the podium and ultimately conquering the 2019 Nurburgring 24 Hours race as the only Japanese privateer team.
In preparation for the 24 Hour race, we will be entering the VLN Series.
Our entry will be supported by Ring Racing with their factory near Nurburgring, and Toyota Motorsport GmbH (TMG) with their technical support.
The driver lineup will be announced at a later date.
We look forward to this challenge and appreciate the immense support from our partners, fans, and supporters.

| In entering the Nurburgring 24 Hours race, I would like to thank my friend Mr. Suttipong Smittachartch, NOVEL Co., Ltd., and Yokohama Rubber Company. I lived in Germany when I was 18 with the aspiration of becoming a professional soccer player, which unfortunately didn't come to fruition. Now involved in the motorsport scene, once again I have a chance to challenge a dream. NOVEL Racing is a strong partner for us given its expertise as a VLN participating team. I hope we can put up a good race with everything we've got from our experience in Super GT. I look forward to working with Ring Racing, and TMG as well. Last but not least, we appreciate the support from our partners, fans, and supporters. |
In our 4th year of participating in the Nurburgring 24 Hours race, we are delighted to be teaming up with a top class Japanese team like Racing Project BANDOH. We believe this puts us in the best position ever, and I appreciate all the people involved. I believe that stepping up to LEXU RC F GT3 car gives us a great chance of becoming the overall winner, which has been one of my goals in entering this race. As such, we hope to achieve the first ever overall win by a Japanese team. We appreciate the support from our fans and supporters. |
